ASSIST-IoT at the TOC Europe 2022

ASSIST-IoT project will be represented in the following week at the TOC Europe 2022 through a joint booth with TIC4.0 committee. Feel free to visit us and learn all about our project. Terminal Link and Prodevelop partners will be there to inform you further on our project.
ASSIST-IoT partners had the chance to meet each other face-to-face for the first time in May! The 4th GA meeting took place between 17-19 May in UPV’s premises in Valencia. Partners during this 3-day meeting had the chance to discuss about technical and overall activities of the project in two different rooms with parallel sessions.
The 2nd ASSIST-IoT Open Call is officially announced and starts at 1st of July 2022! The ASSIST-IoT project has reserved part of the project budget to fund specific activities in order to enhance and improve IoT features and applications and boost the NGIoT community across Europe. Third parties are expected to come along and carry out relevant actions during the project’s life cycle.

ASSIST-IoT proudly announces the 7 ASSIST-IoT OC1 winners. Thank you all participants for submitting their proposals! In total 37 Open Call proposals were received from 13 countries, out of which, after a detailed evaluation period, 7 Open Call proposals have been selected as the winning ones.
ASSIST-IoT organises a Special Session in IEEE 8th World Forum on Internet of Things (WF-IoT), 26 Oct–11 Nov 2022, in Yokohama, Japan. The ASSIST-IoT Special Session is entitled “Future Platforms for Edge-Cloud Continuum–Theoretical Foundations and Practical Considerations”. Call for papers is open. New Deadline
The ASSIST-IoT newsletter #6 is now available!
AIOTI “Report Computing Continuum Scenarios, Requirements and Optical Communication enablers” Technical Report. This report introduces Computing Continuum use cases, requirements and KPIs on communication infrastructures, IoT and edge computing platforms. Compared to many current activities the computing continuum enable a more flexible allocation of compute and communication resources and workload placement.
