ASSIST-IoT 2nd Open Call Announcement
The 2nd ASSIST-IoT Open Call is officially announced and starts at 1st of July 2022! The ASSIST-IoT project has reserved part of the project budget to fund specific activities in order to enhance and improve IoT features and applications and boost the NGIoT community across Europe. ASSIST-IoT proudly announces the 7 ASSIST-IoT OC1 winners. Thank you all participants for submitting their proposals! In total 37 Open Call proposals were received from 13 countries, out of which, after a detailed evaluation period, 7 Open Call proposals have been selected as the winning ones.
The 1st ASSIST-IoT Open Call closed on Monday 28th of February 2022. The express of interest was really high and in total 37 open call proposals were submitted. Notifications on funding or rejections will be sent out to all participants together with any feedback, by May 19th 2022.
Ignacio Lacalle Úbeda (Universitat Politècnica de València UPV) presented on February 7th in the ASSIST-IoT Open Call Workshop all the details about our funding opportunity. Briefly he presented the pilots of the ASSIST-IoT, the objectives and the eligibility criteria of the ASSIST-IoT 1st Open Call Special thanks to the Next Generation Internet of Things – NGIoT for making it happen and to all the participants. 
We invite you to ASSIST-IoT Open Call Webinar on Friday 11 February at 10:00 CET. Webinar conducted by ASSIST-IoT team for presenting their upcoming funding opportunity through ASSIST-IoT Open Call. Participation is free. Registration required. Eligibility criteria, evaluation details and submission procedure will be explained in the webinar. 
The ASSIST-IoT Open Call has been communicated in the Funding & tender opportunities webpage of European Commission portal. You may access it and learn all related information about our Open Call. 
Apart from the ASSIST-IoT Open Call opportunity, there are some other open call opportunities by IoT related project. In this slot we will present to any interesting stakeholder some upcoming open call opportunities by IoT related projects. Four more projects have initiated or will initiate Open Calls within 2022. In particular, Open Call proposals are expected to address one specific challenge out of a list of possible challenges formulated by each pilot. Third parties are expected to come along and carry out relevant actions during the project’s life cycle. You may submit your proposal up to 28 February 2022 17:00 CET. 
The 1st ASSIST-IoT Open Call is open now! ASSIST-IoT Open Call aims at funding innovative proposals that will enhance ASSIST-IoT’s objectives framed (mandatorily) within one (out of its three) pilot(s). In particular, Open Call proposals are expected to address one specific challenge out of a list of possible challenges formulated by each pilot. Third parties are expected to come along and carry out relevant actions during the project’s life cycle. You may submit your proposal up to 28 February 2022 17:00 CET.
