Technical Report #4 entitled: “Implementing autonomic Internet of Things ecosystems – practical considerations”by ASSIST-IoT partners: Kumar Nalinaksh, Piotr Lewandowski, Maria Ganzha, Marcin Paprzycki, Wiesław Pawłowski, and Katarzyna Wasielewska-Michniewska has been published. Development of next generation Internet of Things ecosystems will require bringing in (semi-)autonomic behaviors.

While the research on autonomic systems has a long tradition, the question arises, are there any “off-the-shelf” tools that can be used directly to implement autonomic solutions/components for IoT deployments. The objective of this contribution is to compare real-world-based, autonomy-related requirements derived from ASSIST-IoT project pilots with existing tools.
