The Next Generation Internet of Things (NGIoT) initiative is a growing community of projects and related initiatives at work to maximise the power of IoT made in Europe. NGIoT works to lower the barrier for adoption and development of IoT-empowered solutions, by supporting business models, innovation and skills. In a “network of network” ecosystem, NGIoT consists of ongoing projects and upcoming funding opportunities at work for a human-centric and sustainable digital transition.
ASSIST-IoT partner, Oscar López (S21sec) took part and presented “Applying machine learning towards active cybersecurity” in the NextSecure, the annual cybersecurity event of S21sec, which celebrated its XXIII edition focused on Offensive Security on 9 June 2021. NextSecure, the annual cybersecurity event of S21sec, celebrated its XXIII edition focused on Offensive Security, a trend that represents that companies not only defend themselves of cyberattacks,
Technical Report #4 entitled: “Implementing autonomic Internet of Things ecosystems – practical considerations”by ASSIST-IoT partners: Kumar Nalinaksh, Piotr Lewandowski, Maria Ganzha, Marcin Paprzycki, Wiesław Pawłowski, and Katarzyna Wasielewska-Michniewska has been published. Development of next generation Internet of Things ecosystems will require bringing in (semi-)autonomic behaviors.
ASSIST-IoT partners, Patryk Zradziński, Jolanta Karpowicz, Krzysztof Gryz, Grzegorz Owczarek and Victoria Ramos have published a journal paper on MDPI Sensors entitled: “Modelling and Evaluation of the Absorption of the 866 MHz Electromagnetic Field in Humans Exposed near to Fixed I-RFID Readers Used in Medical RTLS or to Monitor PPE”.
As special issue is organised by ASSIST-IoT project in MDPI Journal of Sensor and Actuator Networks (JSAN) entitled “Recent Advances and Tactile Internet of Things” (ISSN 2224-2708). Call for papers deadline: 28 February 2022. More info available at:
